FIDM Announces Premier of "Where in the World is Fashion Girl" - A New Program Available Exclusively on the Fashion Club Website
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 14, 2007 -- The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (http://www.fidm.com), a co-educational, specialized, private college dedicated to educating students for the Fashion, Graphics, Interior Design and Entertainment industries, recently announced the premier of "Where in the World is Fashion Girl" on the Fashion Club website (http://www.fashionclub.com/fashion-file/chic-street/latest-styles-fashion-trends.shtml).
The program will send FIDM's favorite fashionista on a world tour of some of the most inspiring places on the planet. Fashion Club visitors can follow her each month as she jets to exotic locales and popular destinations to discover how different cultures drive some of the hottest fashions on the runway.
Fashion Girl will stop first in India. Renowned for its influence on the fashion industry, she'll examine breathtaking colors, textures, flavors, and wildlife in the country, while highlighting the national bird, colorful spices, prismatic textiles, South Asian region, and spring 2008 runways that were brimming with stunning Indian-inspired touches.
In recent past, FashionClub.com (http://fashionclub.com/index.shtml) has spurred popularity by showcasing the latest trends, from chic turbans to cute sundresses and trendy shorts. Some of the featured brands included Guess, Steve Madden and Windsor. But according to Denice Cantu, FIDM's Promotions Manager, the program will only add to website's resourcefulness.
"This program brings a global flare to an already feature-filled website," She added, "In addition to the latest trends, must-have clothes and best deals, loyal fans can now enjoy an insightful look into the most stylish fashions around the world."
