San Jose, CA (PRWEB) December 11, 2007 -- Girl Powered, Inc. honors five women who have dedicated themselves in their respective fields, creating a great impact on their communities and beyond. Amie Chilson, Founder & CEO of Girl Powered, Inc., hosts the podcast show designed for female listeners of all ages. Women Who Win? is produced by women for women in hopes of inspiring all those who seek empowerment, motivation, and knowledge. This month's honorees include Donna Ramirez, Tracy McKee, Barbara Larson, Niko Everett, and Iris Korol. Here are the summaries of their accomplishments:

Women Who Win? has selected these women for the following reasons: Bay Area Gives co-founder Donna Ramirez has impacted women by combining her business skills with her passion for philanthropy resulting in impressive fundraising efforts. Tracy McKee works with organizations nationwide to assist them in raising money for the Feed the Children campaign. In their interview they discuss their organizations, what it's like to work in the nonprofit field, and what listeners can do to give back during the month of December.

In the second podcast, Chilson interviews Niko Everett, the Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer for Girls For a Change, a Phoenix, AZ and San Jose, CA nonprofit foundation for teenage girls. With a background in nonprofits, Everett has raised over $2 million and obtained national media recognition for her cause. Everett enlightens Women Who Win? listeners about the inspiring young girls her foundation has helped as well as the rewarding experiences that come with motivating future generations of powerful women.

Barbara Larson, the CEO of the American Red Cross Santa Clara Valley Chapter is the third week's feature. Prior to her current position, Larson served as the Director of Donor Services of the Community Foundation Silicon Valley. In addition to her foundation work, Larson has been a Red Cross volunteer for over 15 years and has worked on several disasters including, most recently, Hurricane Katrina. She shares with listeners the rewarding nature of donating time and money to local and national causes year round. Her impact on women has been profound and she continues to give back daily.

Iris Korol has been involved with Bay Area nonprofit causes for many years and instead of slowing down she is picking up speed by teaching today's youth the benefits of giving and what we can do to improve the lives of the less fortunate. As the last guest of the month, Korol offers an inspirational interview that will get all listeners into the holiday spirit.

"These women are our choices for outstanding guests who have given the most and created social change" says Chilson. "They are my heroes! I fully support anyone who does their part to make a difference in the world."
