A Girls night out in Manumission Ibiza

Last summer the girls and I went on a girl's only week away in Ibiza! It was one to remember and I would say that one of the best nights out in my life was at the famous Manumission nightclub.

Having heard everyone from Paris Hilton, Charlotte Church, and Puff Daddy (not sure that is his current name) oh and Kylie Minogue had been there I was very interested to go and try it out myself. I also was a little apprehensive about the crazy things that have famously gone down there, including a live sex show, fire breathing dwarfs, and transvestites on trapezes, not a normal night out clubbing!

Anyway we all took out 200 euros planning to have a wild night, and it really was that. You can easily spend 200 euros in Manumission considering a bottle of water was 5 euros and around 7 euros a drink. Oh and the entry fee was around 50 euros. But you only do these things once so we thought you may as well do it in style.

We had no intention of going topless in the swimming pool as we had read on the internet that sometimes that is what girls do in Manumission but not us, we may be from Essex but we are certainly not stupid!

First impressions were overwhelmed at the sheer size and number of people in the place, I have never been to a nightclub like it, and the weird acts were nothing to be worried about (as I initially was) but great entertainment (although luckily no live sex shows on the night we were there)!

I knew it used to be the worlds biggest nightclub, I am not sure if it still is, but it is massive, huge, enormous, you really do have to see it to believe it. The music rocked. The main area has a very high ceiling with a stage at the front and swimming pool in the middle it was decorated much more elaborately than most night clubs. There is also an area to one side themed like an island for chilling out.

There were so many people it is hard to get around, but everyone was very relaxed and friendly so it wasn't a problem if you stood on someone's toe by accident like in some nightclubs I have been to in the past.

The atmosphere was fantastic, electric, with so many people the atmosphere really was not comparable to anywhere else I have ever been to. I was amazed at the decor there was palm trees, and even fountains dotted around. The only risky thing we did see was several girls that had obviously been paid to dance in underwear with suspenders.

All in all a night to never forget, quite honestly I am not fussed about ever going back, but I am glad that I have been there and done that!
